HISTORY

The Vanwall Vandervell 680 is a prototype that participate at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023. The car is a Hypercar of type LMh but without hybrid and was designed by ByKolles Racing.

The Austrian Floyd Vanwall Racing team with Tom Dillmann, Esteban Guerrieri and Tristan Vautier at the wheel of the Vanwall Vandervell 680 n.4 did not finish in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023 due to broken engine after one hundred sixty-five laps. The race won by Ferrari 499P n.51 with James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Antonio Giovinazzi, in second place the Toyota GR010 Hybrid n.8 with Brandon Hartley, Sébastien Buemi and Ryo Hirakawa with a gap of other one minute, while in third position the Cadillac V-Series.R n.2 with Alex Lynn, Earl Bamber and Richard Westbrook with a gap of one lap.
