HISTORY

The Jaguar XJR-12 is prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1990. The car was designed by Tony Southgate in collaboration between the British manufacturer and Tom Walkinshaw Racing, and complied with the regulations of the Sport Prototype Championship and of that IMSA GTP.
The British Castrol Jaguar Racing TWR team with Davy Jones, Jan Lammers and Andy Wallace at the wheel of the Jaguar XJR-12 n.61 winner the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1990.

In second place the Jaguar XJR-12 n.60 with Price Cobb, John Nielsen and Martin Brundle with a gap of four laps, while in third position the Porsche 962 n.66 with Bob Wollek, Sarel Van De Merwe and Dominic Dobson with a gap of six laps. During the season Martin Brundle won the Prototype Sports Championship at the helm of the XJR-9.
