HISTORY
The Renault R26 is a car that participated at the Formula 1 World Championship in 2006. After the world championship won the year before with the Renault R25, the team directed by Flavio Briatore, presented the new car designed by Bob Bell and Tim Densham, compared to the previous one there were small aerodynamic updates.
Giancarlo Fisichella with the Renault R26 n.2 finished fourth at the Formula 1 World Championship in 2006, with one victory in season. The teammate Fernando Alonso with the Renault R26 n.1 won the Formula 1 World Championship in 2006. Renault thanks to the performance of Fisichella and Alonso won the constructors’ title.
