HISTORY
The Panoz GTP – Elan is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1998.
The American Panoz Motorsports Inc. team with Patrick Bourdais, Jean-Luc Blanchemain and Roland Berville at the wheel of the Panoz GTP – Elan n.11 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2004 due to broken clutch after fifty-four laps.
The race won by Audi R8 n.5 with Rinaldo Capello, Tom Kristensen, Seiji Ara, second finished Johnny Herbert, Guy Smith, Jamie Davies at the wheel of the Audi R8 n.88, while in third position Emanuele Pirro, Marco Werner, Jyrky Jarvi Lehto with the Audi R8 n.2.
