HISTORY
The Toyota GR010 Hybrid is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024. After that in the year 2021, FIA introduced the new class Hypercar for the WEC, the Japanese team update his hypercar.
The Japanese Toyota Gazoo Racing team with Jose Maria Lopez, Nick De Vries and Kamui Kobayashi at the wheel of the Toyota GR010 Hybrid n.7 finished second in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024 with a gap of fourteen seconds to winner.
The race was won by Antonio Fuoco, Niklas Nielsen, Miguel Molina at the wheel of the Ferrari 499P n.50, while in third position James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Antonio Giovinazzi at the wheel of the Ferrari 499P n.51 with a gap of thirty-six seconds.
