HISTORY

The Cougar C28LM – Porsche is the prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1992. The French Courage Competition team with Pascal Fabre, Lionel Robert and Marco Brand at the wheel of the Cougar C28LM – Porsche n.55 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1992 due to accident after seventy-seven laps from winner.

The race was won by Peugeot 905 n.1 with Mark Blundell, Yannik Dalmas and David Warwick. Masanori Sekiya, Pierre-Henry Raphanel and Kenneth Acheson with the Toyota TS010 n.33 finished in second place while in third place the other Peugeot 905 n.2 with Mauro Baldi, Philippe Alliot and Jean-Pierre Jabouille.
