In second place the Porsche 962C n.8 of the Henn’s Swap Shop Racing team with AJ Foyt, Danny Sullivan, Arie Luyendyk and Preston Henn with a gap of few seconds, while in third position the Porsche 962C n.67 of the BF Goodrich Racing with Jim Busby, Darin Brassfield, Derek Warwick and Jochen Mass with a gap of one lap
