HISTORY

The Spice Fiero SE88C – Cosworth is a prototype that competed at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1988. The car was designed by Graham Humphrey for the Spice Engineering.

The British Spice Engineering team with Gordon Spice, Ray Bellm and Pierre De Thoisy at the wheel of the Spice Fiero SE88C – Cosworth n.111 finished thirteenth in the 24 hours of Le Mans 1988, with a gap of forty-three laps to winner. The race was winner Jaguar XJR-9 n.2 with Jan Lammers, Andy Wallace and Johnny Dumfries, in second place the Porsche 962C n.17 with Derek Bell, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Klaus Ludwig, while in third position the Porsche 962C n.8 with Frank Jelinski, Stanley Dickens, John Winter.
