HISTORY
The Spice Fiero SE88C – Cosworth is a prototype that competed at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1988. The car was designed by Graham Humphrey for the Spice Engineering.
The British Chamberlain Engineering team with Claude Ballot-Lena, Jean-Louis Ricci and Jean-Claude Andruet at the wheel of the Spice Fiero SE88C – Cosworth n.107 did not finish in the 24 hours of Le Mans 1988, due to broken engine after seventeen laps. The race was winner Jaguar XJR-9 n.2 with Jan Lammers, Andy Wallace and Johnny Dumfries, in second place the Porsche 962C n.17 with Derek Bell, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Klaus Ludwig, while in third position the Porsche 962C n.8 with Frank Jelinski, Stanley Dickens, John Winter.
