HISTORY

The Wolf – Ford Cosworth WR1 is a car of the Formula 1 World Championship in 1977. The Canadian team of Walter Wolf with Jody Scheckter at the wheel of the Wolf – Ford Cosworth WR1 n.20 finished second at the Formula 1 World Champion 1977 with three victories in season. The South African driver obtained the best result in the Grand Prix of Argentina at Buenos Aires circuit, Grand Prix of Monaco and Grand Prix of Canada at Montreal circuit with a first place. During the season he won another six podiums fighting for the drivers’ title until mid-season

The championship was won by the Ferrari 312 T2 of Niki Lauda
