HISTORY
The Porsche 962C is prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988. The German Porsche AG team with Derek Bell, Hans Joachim Stuck and Klaus Ludwig at the wheel of the Porsche 962C n.17 finished second at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988 with a gap of two minutes and thirty-six seconds to Jan Lammers, Johnny Dumfries and Andy Wallace winners with the Jaguar XJR-9 LM n.2, the Dutch driver managed to cross the line first even in the last half hour of the race he drove without the third gear. In third place came the Porsche 962C n.8 of Frank Jelinski, Stanley Dickens and John Winter.
