DOME ZERO RL – COSWORTH n.7
HISTORY
The Dome Zero RL – Cosworth is a car that a participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1979. Designed by Minoru Hayashi the Japanese prototype derived from the road car and modified to participate in the French race, the famous Ford Cosworth DFV was the engine used, tested for the duration races. Tony Trimmer and Bob Evans at the wheel of the Dome Zero RL – Cosworth n.7 this did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979 due to the broke engine, after covering twenty-five laps. The race was won by Porsche 935-K3 n.41 with Klaus Ludwig, Don Whittington, Bill Whittington.
