HISTORY

The Lancia LC2 – Ferrari is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988. The Italian Dollop racing team with Jean-Pierre Frey, Nicola Marozzo and Ranieri Randaccio at the wheel of the Lancia LC2 – Ferrari n.24 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988, due to engine failure after having covered two hundred and fifty-five laps. The winner the race was Jaguar XJR-9 n.2 with Jan Lammers, Andy Wallace and Johnny Dumfries, in second place the Porsche 962C n.17 with Derek Bell, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Klaus Ludwig, while in third position the Porsche 962C n.8 with Frank Jelinski, Stanley Dickens, John Winter.
