HISTORY

The Audi R8 is A prototype of the Ingolstadt manufacturer that participated in the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2002. The Japanese Audi Sport Japan Team Goh team with Yannick Dalmas, Seiji Ara and Hiroki Katoh at the wheel of the Audi R8 n.5 finished seventh in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2002 with a gap of seventeen laps from the winner.

The race won to Frank Biella, Emanuele Pirro and Tom Kristensen with Audi R8 n.1, Rinaldo Capello, Johnny Herbert and Christian Pescatori at the wheel of the Audi R8 n.2 finished second, while in third place the Audi R8 n.3 with Marco Werner, Philipp Peter and Michael Krumm.
