HISTORY
The Mercedes F1 W08 EQ Power+ is the winning car of the Formula One World Championship in 2017. After three years of domination by the German team, the new year’s car sees new structural upgrades compared to the previous Mercedes F1 W07. With the Rosberg retreat, the team headed by Toto Wolff hires the Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas. Valtteri Bottas driving the Mercedes F1 W08 EQ Power+ n.77 finished third in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2017, with three victories in season.
The best result for the Finnish driver was three victories in the Grand Prix of Russian, Austria and Abu Dhabi
The teammate Lewis Hamilton won the championship and Mercedes won its fourth constructors title.
