HISTORY
The Glickenhaus SCG007 is a prototype for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2021. The FIA introduced the new class for the WEC, the Hypercar. The American team is the new manufacturer to introduce a hypercar.
Romain Dumas, Ryan Briscoe and Richard Westbrook at the wheel of the Glickenhaus SCG007 n.709 finished fifth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2021, with a gap of 7 laps to winner.
The race was won by Toyota GR010 Hybrid n.7 with Jose Maria Lopez, Mike Conway and Kamui Kobayashi. Second the Toyota GR010 Hybrid n.8 with Brandon Hartley, Sébastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima, while third the Alpine A480 – Gibson n.36 with Nicolas Lapierre, Andre Negrao and Matthieu Vaxiviere with a gap of four laps
