HISTORY

The McLaren – Mercedes Benz MP4/24, participated in the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship. In the project participated: Paddy Lowe, Neil Oatley, Pat Fry and Doug McKiernan. The English team with the Finnish driver Heikki Kovalainen with the McLaren – Mercedes Benz MP4/24 n.2 finished twelfth in the Formula 1 World Champion 2009, with twenty-two points in season.

The best result for him is the fourth position in the Europe Grand Prix on the Valencia circuit. With the team mate English driver Lewis Hamilton the English team finished third in the constructors’ title.
