HISTORY
The Porsche 936CJ is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1983. The car was developed from an chassis of the Joest team for the regulation of the C class.
The German Joest Porsche Racing team with Jean-Michel Martin, Marc Duez and Philippe Martin at the wheel of the Porsche 936CJ n.15 did not finish in the the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1983, due to problem at the fuel injection after nine laps. The race won by Porsche 956 n.3 with Vern Schuppan, Al Holbert and Hurley Haywood, in second place the Porsche 956 n.1 with Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, while in third position the Porsche 956 n.21 with Mario Andretti, Michael Andretti and Philippe Alliot
