PEUGEOT 905 Evo1C n.3

HISTORY

The Peugeot 905 Evo1C n.3 is the winning car of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1993. After the victory with the 905 Evo 1 of 1992, the manufacturer decides to re-present the same car despite the presentation of the new 905 Evo 2, but it did not reassure French engineers for reliability.

Geoff Brabham, Eric Helary and Cristophe Bouchut won the 1993 Le Mans 24 Hours with the Peugeot 905 Evo1C n.3, the French managed to repeat the success of the previous year. The Peugeot monopolized the podium obtaining a stunning hat-trick with the 905 n.1 of Thierry Boutsen, Yannick Dalmas, Teo Fabi in second place one lap by the winners and the n.2 of Philippe Alliot, Mauro Baldi, Jean-Pierre Jabouille, third with eight laps. The only Toyota Toyota did not go beyond the fourth place because of many problems on the three prototypes.
