The American Shelby American Inc team with Ronnie Bucknum and Paul Hawkins at the wheel of the Ford GT40 MKIIB n.57 did not finish in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1967 due to broken engine after two hundred seventy-one laps. The race won by Ford MK IV n.1 of Gurney and Foyt, second with a detachment of four rounds on Ferrari 330 P4 n.21 of Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes of the team official, while to third place the Ferrari 330 P4 n.24 of Willy Mairesse and Blatan of the team Ecurie Nationale Belge with detachment of eleven rounds.
