HISTORY

The Nissan R391 is a car that took part in the 1999 Le Mans 24 Hours. The prototype was designed by Nigel Stroud and Doug Skinner.
The French J.B. Jabouille – Bouresche team with Erik Comas, Michael Krumm and Satoshi Motoyama at the wheel of the Nissan R391 n.22 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1999 due to broken engine after one hundred ten laps.

The race was won by Pierluigi Martini, Yannik Dalmas, Joachim Winkelhock with the BMW V12 LMR n.15, second Ukyo Katayama, Toshio Suzuki, Kelichi Tsuchiya with the Toyota GT-One n.3 while third Emanuele Pirro, Frank Biella, Didier Theys with the Audi R8R n.8.
