HISTORY
The Courage C52 – Nissan is a car that took part in the 1999 Le Mans 24 Hours. The prototype was designed by Courage Competition.
The Japanese Nismo Nissan Motorsport team with Didier Cottaz, Marc Goossens and Fredrik Ekblom at the wheel of the Courage C52 – Nissan n.21 finished eighth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1999 with a gap of thirty-one laps to winner.
The race was won by Pierluigi Martini, Yannik Dalmas, Joachim Winkelhock with the BMW V12 LMR n.15, second Ukyo Katayama, Toshio Suzuki, Kelichi Tsuchiya with the Toyota GT-One n.3 while third Emanuele Pirro, Frank Biella, Didier Theys with the Audi R8R n.8.
