HISTORY
The Red Bull – Renault RB8 is the single-seater that participated at the Formula 1 World Championship in 2012. After the season dominated in 2011 with Red Bull RB7, Adrian Newey tries to add something new to a very strong design base. The new regulation forces the stables to a front profile that is not aesthetically pleasing to Formula 1 fans.
The Austrian Red Bull racing team with Mark Webber at the wheel of the Red Bull – Renault RB8 n.2 finished sixth in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2012. The Australian driver achieved two victories in season in Monaco Grand Prix and Great Britain Gran Prix.
Together with team mate Sebastian Vettel they brought the Red Bull Racing team to first place in the constructors’ championship.
