The Porsche 917 K is a car that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1971. The British J.W. Automotive Engineering Ltd. team with Richard Attwood and Herbert Muller at the wheel of Porsche 917 K n.19 finished second at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1971 with a gap of two laps to winners.
The race was won by Porsche 917 K n.22 of Gijs Van Lennep and Helmut Marko, while third Sam Posey, Tony Adamowicz whit the Ferrari 512 M n.12.
