The Alpine A470 – Gibson is the prototype of the LMP2 class at the 24 hours of Le Mans 2019. The french Signatech Alpine Matmut team with Nicolas Lapierre, Andre Negrao and Pierre Thiriet at the wheel of the Alpine A470 – Gibson n.36 they won in the class LMP2 at the 24 hours of Le Mans 2019, with a gap of seventeen laps from the race-winning Toyota TS050 n.8.
