The Norway Team Lucky Strike Schanche team with Martin Schanche, Robin Smith and Robin Donovan at the wheel of the Argo JM19C – Cosworth n.117 finished twenty-fifth in the 24 hours of Le Mans 1988, with a gap of one hundred sixteen laps to winner. The race was winner Jaguar XJR-9 n.2 with Jan Lammers, Andy Wallace and Johnny Dumfries, in second place the Porsche 962C n.17 with Derek Bell, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Klaus Ludwig, while in third position the Porsche 962C n.8 with Frank Jelinski, Stanley Dickens, John Winter.
