HISTORY
The Audi R8 is a prototype that participated at the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2000. The Audi after the year of experience with the two models of 1999, the R8R with the cockpit discovered and the R8C with a coupé cockpit, decided to channel its research into the uncovered car. During the season, Audi participated in the American Le Mans Series, the Le Mans trio won the 12 Hours of Sebring, the Grand Prix of Texas and the Grand Prix of Las Vegas.
