HISTORY
The Benetton Renault B195 was the most successful car of the anglo-italian team, participated in the Formula 1 World Championship in 1995. The project was born by the engineer Rory Byrne and the technical director Ross Brawn It was based on the evolution of the Benetton B194, the main difference it was the Renault engine that was going to replace the Ford engine, which allowed the team to have the same engine as challenger Williams.
Michael Schumacher with Benetton – Renault B195 n.1 dominated the 1995 World Championship, for the german he was the second world title, during the season he won nine Grand Prix: Brazil, Spain, Monaco, France, Germany, Belgium, Europe, Pacific and Japan. Teammate Johnny Herbert won two GPs in Great Britain and GP Italy. For the Benetton there was also the victory of the constructors’ title.
