HISTORY
The Bentley EXP speed 8 is a prototype of the English manufacturer that participated in the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2003. The Audi owner of the brand, to revive it decided to design a coupe car unlike the Audi R8 with which he participated in that period. The engine was the same as the german car, but with the possibility of having more power allowed by the regulation.
Tom Kristensen, Rinaldo Capello, Guy Smith at the wheel of the Bentley EXP speed 8 n.7 winner the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2003. The race saw the total domination of the green prototypes that made a stunning double with the twin car Bentley EXP speed 8 n.8 driven by the trio Mark Blundell, David Brabham and Johnny Herbert. After two years of apprenticeship, in which Audi preferred to focus on the R8, in 2003 the efforts were directed to the english car, also lending its pilots.
