The French Viper Team Oreca with Tommy Archer, Marc Duez and Patrick Huisman at the wheel of the Chrysler Viper GTS-R n.52 finished twelfth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2000 with a gap of forty-four laps to winner.

The race won by Audi R8 n.8 with Frank Biella, Tom Kristensen and Emanuele Pirro while second Laurent Aiello, Stephane Ortelli and Allan McNish with the Audi R8 n.9, while in third position the Audi R8 n.7 with Christian Abt, Michele Alboreto and Rinaldo Capello.
