HISTORY

The Cougar C28LM – Porsche is the prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1992. The French Courage Competition team with Tomas Saldana, Denis Morin and Jean-Francois Yvon at the wheel of the Cougar C28LM – Porsche n.56 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1992 due to broken engine after one hundred forty-two laps from winner.

The race was won by Peugeot 905 n.1 with Mark Blundell, Yannik Dalmas and David Warwick. Masanori Sekiya, Pierre-Henry Raphanel and Kenneth Acheson with the Toyota TS010 n.33 finished in second place while in third place the other Peugeot 905 n.2 with Mauro Baldi, Philippe Alliot and Jean-Pierre Jabouille.
