HISTORY
The Ferrari 246 took part in the Formula One World Championship in 1960. For 1960, Ferrari still had no real answer to Cooper’s mid-engine revolution and was behind even Lotus. In its third year of development, the 246 Dino has been further refined with detailed modifications.
Phill Hill at the wheel of the Ferrari 246 finished fifth in the Formula 1 World Championship 1960 with one victory at the Italy Grand Prix where the Ferrari team achieved also the second place with Richie Ginther and the third place with Willy Mairesse.
Jack Brabham with the Cooper – Climax T53 won the driver’s championship.
