HISTORY
The Ferrari F2003-GA is the car used by Ferrari for the 2003 season of the Formula 1 Championship. The car was designed by the duo Rory Byrne and Ross Brawn, and is based on the development of the previous Ferrari F2002.
The initials Ferrari F1 F2003-GA differs from the usual acronyms for the addition of the syllable “GA” whose meaning is the dedication to the lawyer Gianni Agnelli, who died in January 2003.
With the Ferrari F2003-GA Michael Schumacher won his sixth world title, the third in a row with Ferrari. The german driver with this car won five Grand Prix races: GP of Spain, GP of Austria, GP of Canada, GP of Italy and GP of the United States. Michael Schumacher won the title only at the last Grand Prix of Japan with two points ahead of Kimi Raikkonen who piloted McLaren, the english team with the young finnish driver managed to fight for the world thanks to the support of the Michelin tires, but the experience of the German champion was decisive.
Together with team mate Rubens Barrichello they brought the Ferrari team to first place in the constructors’ championship.
