The Belgian Racing Team V.D.S. with Teddy Pilette and Gustave ‘Taf’ Gosselin at the wheel of the Lola T70 MKIIIB – Chevrolet n.4 did not finish at the 24 hours of Le Mans 1970 due to broken transmission after one hundred nine laps.

The race was won by the Porsche 917 K n.23 of Hermann Hans and Richard Attwood, in second place the Porsche 917 K LH n.3 with Gerard Larrousse, Willi Kauhsen, while in third position the Porsche 908/2 LH with Helmut Marko, Rudi Lins.
