The race was won by the Porsche 917 K n.23 of Hermann Hans and Richard Attwood, in second place the Porsche 917 K LH n.3 with Gerard Larrousse, Willi Kauhsen, while in third position the Porsche 908/2 LH with Helmut Marko, Rudi Lins.
