HISTORY
The Lotus – Honda 99T is a car that participated in the Formula 1 World Championship in 1987. At the end of 1986 Lotus announces the collaboration with the Honda engines abandoning the French of Renault. The 99T was designed by Gerard Decarauge, the car stood out for the use of active suspension that allowed to avoid both the rolling and pitching, particularly the new yellow livery with the sponsor Camel and the farewell to the sponsor John Player Special .
Satoru Nakajima with the Lotus – Honda 99T n.11 arrived twelfth in the Formula 1 World Championship of 1987, with seven points in season. With Japanese driver and teammate Ayrton Senna, the Lotus team arrived third in the constructors title
