HISTORY
The Mazda 717C is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1983. The Japanese Mazdaspeed Team with Steve Soper, James Weaver and Jeff Allam at the wheel of the Mazda 717C n.61 finished eighteenth in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1983 with a gap of one hundred seven laps from the winner race. The winner the race was Porsche 956 n.3 with Vern Schuppan, Al Holbert, Hurley Haywood, in second place the Porsche 956 n.1 with Jacky Ickx, Derek Bell, while in third position the Porsche 956 n.21 with Mario Andretti, Michael Andretti, Philippe Alliot.
