HISTORY

The McLaren – TAG Porsche MP4/2C, and the winning car of the 1986 Formula 1 World Championship. After having repeated the success of 1984, the Woking team, decides to update the McLaren MP4/2B again, with an increase of 100 horsepower of the Porsche engine and the regulatory reduction of the tank to 195 liters.

Keke Rosberg with the McLaren – TAG Porsche MP4/2C n.2 arrived sixth in the Formula 1 World Championship in 1986, with one podium in season. Together with his teammate Alain Prost they took McLaren to second place in the constructors’ title.
