HISTORY
The Mercedes AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance is a car of the Formula One World Championship in 2020. The team led by Toto Wolff presented the new car before the Barcelona tests. The designers Alda Costa, Geoff Willis, James Allison, Mike Elliott and John Owe, with the W11 they adopt new ideas that differentiate it from the 2018 Mercedes W10 world champion. Among the main ones the rear suspension, the most powerful engine and the highly contested Dual Axis Steering (DAS) system. Valtteri Bottas driving the Mercedes AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance n.77 in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2020.
The Finnish driver starts the new world with the victory in the Grand Prix of Austria, while teammate Lewis Hamilton fourth. In the following Grand Prix again in Austria, Bottas finished second behind Hamilton.
