MERCEDES F1 W07 Hybrid n.6
HISTORY
The Mercedes F1 W07 Hybrid n.6 is the dominating car of the Formula World Championship in 2016. After two years of domination the German team, tried to maintain its advantage over the opponents with a project that was based heavily on the car before the Mercedes F1 W06, the biggest differences were hidden by the engine bonnet and mainly concerned the gearbox.
Nico Rosberg driving the Mercedes F1 W07 Hybrid n.6 won the Formula 1 World Championship in 2016, for the German driver was the first and only drivers’ title. The championship was marked as in the last two years by the duel between the two Mercedes drivers, leaving only one victory to the opponents. Rosberg won nine races and set off eight times in pole position, winning the title at the last race in the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi where he came second behind team-mate Lewis Hamilton. Mercedes won its third constructors title.
After a few days of winning the world title Rosberg announced the withdrawal from motor racing.
