HISTORY

The Morgan Aero 8 – BMW is the car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2002. The British DeWalt – Racesport Salisbury team with Richard Stanton, Steve Hyde and Richard Hay at the wheel of the Morgan Aero 8 – BMW n.73 did not finish at the 24 Hours Le Mans 2002 due to the engine breaking after one hundred eighty-one laps

The race won to Emanuele Pirro, Frank Biella, Tom Kristensen with the Audi R8 n.1. Second the Audi R8 n.2 of Johnny Herbert, Rinaldo Capello and Christian Pescatori, detached from a lap, while in third position Marco Werner, Philipp Peter, Michael Krumm with the Audi R8 n.3.
