HISTORY

The Porsche 917 LH is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1971. The German Martini Racing Team with Vic Elford, Gerard Larrousse at the wheel of Porsche 917 LH n.21 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1971 due to the engine breakdown after covering seventy-four laps.

The race was won by Porsche 917 K n.22 of Gijs Van Lennep and Helmut Marko, second Richard Attwood, Herbert Muller whit the Porsche 917 K n.19, while third Sam Posey, Tony Adamowicz whit the Ferrari 512 M n.12.
