The German Kremer Racing team with Mario Hytten, George Fouche and Sarel Van Der Merwe at the wheel of the Porsche 956B n.10 finished fifth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1985 with a gap of thirteen laps to winner. The race was won by Porsche 956B n.7 of Ludwig, Barilla and Winter deployed by the Joest Racing team winners of the race. In second place the Porsche 956 GTI n.14 with Jonathan Palmer, James Weaver, Richard Lloyd, while in third position the Porsche 962C n.2 with Derek Bell and Hans Joachim Stuck.
