HISTORY

The Porsche 962C is the prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1992. The French Equipe Alméras Jacques team with Jean-Marie Almeras, Jacques Almeras and Max Cohen-Olivar at the wheel of the Porsche 962C n.68 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1992 due to accident after eighty-five laps. The race was won by Peugeot 905 n.1 with Mark Blundell, Yannik Dalmas and David Warwick.

Masanori Sekiya, Pierre-Henry Raphanel and Kenneth Acheson with the Toyota TS010 n.33 finished in second place while in third place the other Peugeot 905 n.2 with Mauro Baldi, Philippe Alliot and Jean-Pierre Jabouille.
