HISTORY
The Riley & Scott MKIII is a car that took part in the 24 Hours of Daytona 1997. The prototype was designed by Bill and Bob Riley.
The American Dyson Racing team with Rob Dyson, James Weaver, Butch Leitzinger, Andy Wallace, John Paul jr, Elliot Forbes-Robinson and John Schneider at the wheel of the Riley & Scott MKIII – Ford n.20 winner the 24 Hours of Daytona 1997.
In second place finished the Ferrari 333 SP n.3 of the Team Scandia with Fermin Velex, Andy Evans, Charles Morgan and Rob Morgan with a gap of one lap, while in third position the Riley & Scott MKIII n.4 of the Dibos Racing with Eduardo Dibos Chappuis, Jim Page and Barry Waddell.
