HISTORY
The Riley & Scott MKIII is a car that took part in the 1999 Le Mans 24 Hours. The prototype was designed by Bill and Bob Riley.
The French Philippe Gache – Solution F. team with Marco Apicella, Carl Rosenblad and Shane Lewis at the wheel of the Riley & Scott MKIII n.32 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1999 due to broken engine after sixty-seven laps.
The race was won by Pierluigi Martini, Yannik Dalmas, Joachim Winkelhock with the BMW V12 LMR n.15, second Ukyo Katayama, Toshio Suzuki, Kelichi Tsuchiya with the Toyota GT-One n.3 while third Emanuele Pirro, Frank Biella, Didier Theys with the Audi R8R n.8.
