HISTORY
The Toyota GR010 Hybrid n.8 is a prototype for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2021. The FIA introduced the new class for the WEC, the Hypercar. The Japanese team is the first manufacturer to introduce a hypercar.
Brandon Hartley, Sébastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima at the wheel of the Toyota GR010 Hybrid n.8 finished second in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2021 with a gap of two laps. The race was won by Toyota GR010 Hybrid n.7 with Jose Maria Lopez, Mike Conway and Kamui Kobayashi, while third the Alpine A480 – Gibson n.36 with Nicolas Lapierre, Andre Negrao and Matthieu Vaxiviere with a gap of four laps
