HISTORY
The Toyota GR010 Hybrid is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023. After that in the year 2021, FIA introduced the new class Hypercar for the WEC, the Japanese team update his hypercar.
The Japanese Toyota Gazoo Racing team with Brandon Hartley, Sébastien Buemi and Ryo Hirakawa at the wheel of the Toyota GR010 Hybrid n.8 finished second in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023 with a gap of other one minute to winner, after five consecutive victories they have to surrender to the return of Ferrari.
The race won by Ferrari 499P n.51 with James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Antonio Giovinazzi, while in third position the Cadillac V-Series R n.2 with Earl Bamber, Alex Lynn and Richard Westbrook with a gap of one lap.
