HISTORY
The Toyota Hybrid TS050 n.7 is a prototype that has participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2020. The FIA to balance performance with the other non-hybrid LMP1s, increases the ballast for the two Japanese hybrids at the start.
Jose Maria Lopez, Mike Conway and Kamui Kobayashi at the wheel of the Toyota Hybrid TS050 N.7 their arrived third at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2020. Starting from the pole position, they were in the lead for half the race, but a turbo problem forced them to pit for thirty minutes. Starting again in fourth position they managed to recover up to third position, six laps behind the Toyota TS050 n.8 winner with Sebastien Buemi, Brandon Hartley and Kazuki Nakajima and one lap behind the second Rebellion RB13 n.1 with Bruno Senna, Gustavo Menezes and Norman Nato at the finish.
