The Tyrrell – Ilmor 020B is a car that participated at the Formula 1 World Champion 1992. The car is a project of George Ryton and Mike Coughlan.
The English Tyrrell Racing Organization team with Andrea De Cesaris at the wheel of the Tyrrell – Ilmor 020B n.4 finished ninth in the Formula 1 World Championship 1992. The Italian driver achieved eight points in the season, the best result was the fourth place at the Grand Prix of Japan.
The Championship won by Nigel Mansell with the Williams FW14B n.5.
Although teammate Olivier Grouillard scored no points, Tyrrell finished sixth in the constructors’ championship.
