HISTORY
The Tyrrell – Yamaha 023 is a car that participated in the 1995 Formula One World Championship. The car was designed by Harvey Postlethwaite, Mike Gascoyne and Jean-Claude Migeot.
The English Nokia Tyrrell Yamaha team with Mika Salo at the wheel of Tyrrell – Yamaha 023 n.4 finished fifteenth in the Formula 1 World Championship 1995 with five points. The best result of the Finnish driver is the fifth position at the Italian Grand Prix on the Monza circuit and the Australian Grand Prix on the Adelaide circuit.
The teammate Ukyio Katayama did not have achieved points in the season and only with points of Mika Salo the team Tyrrell finished to ninth place in the constructors’ title. The championship driver was won by Michael Schumacher with the Benetton – Renault B195 n.1.
